Welcome to the new home of the Thirteen Crossroads update blog. I’m so darn excited about this, I could just, well…
Blogger was always a temporary solution until I took the time to install some blogs directly into my website, and here we are.
The journey of building Thirteen Crossroads from the ground up, getting some books published, and really further developing and polishing the website has all been a blast, and I look forward to so much more in the coming months and years.
To keep this update simple, here’s what you need to know:
NEW BLOGS
I have been musing about some new blogs over the past couple of months, and I’m finally getting to it. I will write at least one entry in each per week (vacations and breaks will happen now and again, but not often). Below are the three blogs.
Poets’ Corner – I have always admired poetry, and have for some time written my own, but never to publish. Now that is changing. Head on over to see what it’s all about. There are already a couple poems there waiting for you.
The Blog of Life – This world and life are so darn interesting, and there are so many things I want to write about them. This blog is the place for that. I take interesting insights or observations (from sports, news, politics, history, media, to whatever else is going on) and try to pull some meaning and insight from them. Head on over to learn more.
The Sunday Blog – Sundays for me are about rest and reflection on the questions of life, the things of eternity. As a Mormon, I find that following the example of the Savior buoys me up and helps me live a more fulfilling, purposeful life. I’m a writer and would therefore be remiss if I did not take the time to write about the things that matter most to me. What you’ll find here will vary greatly, from ideas about the scriptures and the history of Christianity to simply how we can become better people. Regardless of who you are, take a glance and see if there isn’t something of worth to you in my entries here.

It’s high time that a newsletter start going out from Thirteen Crossroads each month to keep people updated on what’s new and what’s on the horizon. I am overjoyed at all that I have planned to write and publish. With blogs each week, chapters from the Outcast series each month, short stories and novellas every couple of months, and new entries into the Destiny and Distant Souls series to be released in the coming year, I’ve got a lot ahead of me and little time to waste.
